I didn’t start emote. because I wanted to build another clothing brand. I started it because, for as long as I can remember, I’ve found it easier to hide what I was feeling than to talk about it. I carried conversations home, replayed moments in my head, and convinced myself that staying quiet was easier than explaining what was going on inside.
Over time, I realized I wasn’t the only one.
We all have days when we don’t know how to put our feelings into words. Some emotions are difficult to explain, and some are easier to carry in silence.
That’s where the idea for emote. came from.
I wanted to create something for those moments — a brand that lets people express themselves without having to say everything out loud. A graphic, a phrase, or a design that quietly says, “This is how I feel today.”
Building emote. has taught me that the smallest details matter. Every design is revised, questioned, and refined until it feels right — because every piece carries a feeling before it carries a logo.
We’re still at the beginning of this journey. Every person who joins our waitlist, follows our story, or believes in this idea is helping shape what emote. becomes.
Thank you for believing in what we’re building. I hope emote. gives you another way to express who you are — even when words don’t come easily.
